Wow, does time fly! While at the time I am writing this, the pastures are still brown here in Florida, it won’t be long before the southern winter is gone, and the pastures are green once again. Soon Cornish Cross chicks will be at the post office waiting to be picked up. Fresh layers of bedding will be spread in the brooders, waiting for the little yellow ones. The field chicken tractors will be fixed and mended, ready to start sailing across the green grass.
While we have had good success over the past two years, we are looking forward to an amazing 2024. Plans are in the works for a new processing facility, new processing procedures, and even “Egg Kiosks”. Can’t wait to see how this year turns out!
